Souq.com furtherconfirmed that 2 items were sold per second with over 20K mobiles, 20K bottles of perfumes and 20K fashion items being sold in the first few hours itself. 40% of purchases on the first day came via credit card, which also provescustomers are availing benefit of partnership with MasterCard to get 10% extra off on all deals.
