British footwear brand Clarks brings 170 years of caring for kids feet to the UAE

Dubai, United Arab Emirates –British footwear brand, Clarks, has opened its doors today to the world’s first-ever Clarks Kids store at the Dubai Mall,with exclusive Franchisee JashanmalGroup.The perfect start for healthy feet, every pair of Clarks Kids shoes is designed with growing feet in mind, made with the finest materials, a little imagination and plenty of love.
Over 170 years of caring for kid’s feet, means Clarks know more than anyone else about how they develop. We know how important it is to care for them, every wiggle, wriggle, stumble and step of the way. More than half a century ago, we pioneered measuring children’s feet – the length, the width and depth – when we invented one of the first foot gauges. And with the recent launch of our advanced iPad foot gauge we’re still breaking new ground. We put everything we know into making every pair we make.
Now you can find all of your children’s footwear needs in one convenient location. The new Clarks Kids shop, dedicated to children, will feature a wide range fromFirst Shoes to school shoes and everything in between. This first-of-its-kind Clarks Kids is the first in the world to launch and is part of a bigger Clarks Kids store opening programme which will be rolled out to markets around the world in the coming years.
The Clarks Kids collection transformstraditional styles to incorporate a touch of style whilst keeping your little one’s feet comfortable and protected. Soft supple leathers, suedes, textured fabrics, canvas and machine washable mesh are just some of the carefully chosen materials which go into Clarks Kids shoes.

The first thing you’ll notice is the warm and inviting store design – inspired by the home of Clarks in the Somerset countryside of England, the British heritage, craftsmanship and shoe-fitting expertise. There is a lovely apple tree designed as a decorative expression of growth, to reassure you how much the Clarks brand truly believes in “growing feet in safe hands.”
To keep your little ones entertained a colouring table has been installed for kids to play whilst parents shop. In addition, the award winning, interactive iPad foot gauge which features the Clarks Kids animated characters, Jack and Daisy are ready and waiting to play. Children are invited to interact with the iPad by putting in their age and choosing their gender (by choosing a character). They then stand on the base-station and the iPad is inserted into the top of the station to record length while a sales assistant manually measures and inputs the width.
With almost two centuries of shoe making expertise, Clarks prides itself on being a family-owned company of shoe experts. With the addition of this new Clarks Kids store, the brand now operates 17 standalone stores across the UAE, managed by Jashanmal Group, and 106 in total across the Middle East and Africa region.
