Dubai, February 11, 2025:  The Hinduja Group unveiled a new book titled `I Am?’ by the global conglomerate’s Group Chairman, Gopichand Hinduja, which compiles his thoughts on spirituality and the universal fraternity espoused by world religions, encapsulating the Indian world view of `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ or `World as One Family,’ which is also the driving vision of the Group while doing business in multi-cultural geographies.

`I Am?’ was released at a high-profile event in New Delhi by the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, in the presence of leaders from across politics, business and spirituality. The book’s vision of   unity among diversity comes with endorsements from leading personalities including H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE, King Charles III of the UK, among others.

In a foreword to the book, H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, said: “This important book makes us aware of the considerable common ground among the tenets of different religions and faiths. It makes the point that uniting people of different faiths harnessing the core values that are common to all religions should lead people everywhere to work together.”

He added that` I Am?’ is a call to all of us to honour our common humanity.

Launching the book, the Vice President of India said `I Am?’ is a “thought-provoking assimilation by Gopichand P. Hinduja. This launch taking place in Bharat, the land of Sanatan, the cradle of one of the oldest civilisations and global spiritual centre, carries deep significance. This book underscores the universal relevance of Bharatiyata, virtuosity that is discernible in all faiths. Unity means no uniformity. Bharatiyata is a perfect example. It exemplifies unity in diversity.”

Mr. Ashok P. Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Group of Companies (India) said, “Our businesses have flourished because promoting multicultural understanding has been an article of faith for us. GP often wondered, if religion is a stepping stone to discover one’s spirituality, then how ‘that which is supposed to unite’ creates division?”

The book is inspired by the conversations with different spiritual masters, intellectuals, and world leaders on spirituality and GP Hinduja felt compelled to compile this book for the younger generation to help them positively and influence them to navigate the globalised and interconnected world, he said.

The notable attendees at the book launch included Mr. Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor; Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, eminent jurist and Rajya Sabha MP; British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron; Vipul Rungta, MD CEO HDFC Capital; Navin Jindal, Chairman, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd and Member Lok Sabha.
