As a nod to Banana Republic’s heritage and 40th anniversary the No Boundaries collection is a celebration of classic, archive hero pieces that she and he know and love made modern for now. Since its inception in 1978, Banana Republic continues to evolve and remain true to the brand’s legacy of superior quality, premium fabrics and timeless style. The range features utility inspired styles, iconic trenches, covetable sweaters and luxe fabrications.
In women’s look out for key pieces like the Suede Utility Skirt, which is a limited edition real suede skirt and uniquely designed with stretch; celebrating Banana Republic’s heritage of exploration is the Utility Jumpsuit complete with tie waist; the Classic Suede Trench has been updated and now comes in a luxe suede fabrication; and the super warm, high quality Melton Italian woolMoto Jacket.
In Men’s there’s the tailored, performance Tapered Chinos, which are engineered with stretch for a comfortable fit that keeps its shape and added water and stain resistant properties; the Kevin Love capsule collection’s 100% lambskin Leather Biker Jacket, which has been designed and finished by hand to bring out the soft worn look and comes with adjustable zip cuffs; and the mid-weight Cotton Cable Texture Crew sweater.
As the cooler weather starts to set in Banana Republic’s range of everyday luxury sweaters and outerwear is a great addition to any Fall wardrobe. Covetable textures, luxe fabrics and quality detailing are the highlights of the range.
For women, the iconic Wool Peacoat has been updated with a pop of pink and now comes in Melton wool, the Reversible Poncho is a luxurious 80/20 wool blend and double-sided to add warm and versatility and the Fluffy Crew is a classic silhouette with a fashion yarn wool blend of Alpaca and Merino.
The men’s collection includes the Italian Merino Crew, which is renowned for its lightweight warmth, durability and ability to retain its shape; the Wool Blend Donkey Jacket, which is a new silhouette, similar to the Peacoat, being introduce this Fall; and the Four Pocket Jacket with water repellent coating.
WOMENS
Denim is a firm Fall favorite and Banana Republic’s range is all about good quality, good fit and versatility. By working with some of the world’s finest mills to source the most innovative fabrics that stretch, sculpt and retain color there’s something for everyone in this season’s collection. Key styles include Zero Gravity, which uses 360° stretch for maximum comfort and a super smooth fit and comes in stay blue, stay white and stay black washes; Luxe Sculpt which is luxuriously soft (think PJ soft) and is engineered to lift, sculpt and move with the wearer; and Comfort Stretch which is a special cotton blend denim engineered for super soft feel with extra stretch for all day comfort.
The elevated casual range continues over from Summer and sees classic looks reinvented with a sporty edge. Key looks include the new “Pull on” Track Stripe Pant, which features an elongating side stripe and split hem and is a black satin crepe; the black jumpsuit which is a customer favorite, covetable silhouette that has been updated with a crew neckline and sporty stripe detailing; and the Vegan Leather Moto, which is super soft and effortless chic and looks and feels better than the real thing.
MEN’S
The bestselling traveler style is available in even more fits and fabrics this Fall. Brand new is the Luxe Traveler Denim, which has an incredible soft hand feel and is available in Slim fit. The Traveler Pant features Stay Black fade resistant technology and has the perfect amount of stretch to stay comfortable no matter what. It’s available in Skinny, Slim and Athletic Tapered fits, and, new for Fall, the Slim fit now also comes in corduroy. The Traveler Denim is the classic denim he knows and loves made in a 120-year-old Japanese mill available in Slim fit.
This Fall Banana Republic is introducing the Tech Stretch Cotton Shirt, which comes in a Slim Flex Fit, a hybrid between Slim and Standard, and a wide assortment of color and traditional and novelty prints and patterns. The shirt is cut shorter so it can be worn tucked in or tucked out and features stretch, moisture wicking, quick-dry and breathable performance prosperities.
