Beautique hosts successful event for first certifiedEmirati perfumer

Dubai, July 2017. Last month, Beautique had the pleasure of hosting Asim Al Qasim, first certified Emirati perfumer and designer of the brand Anfas to celebrate the launch of his new collection. Journalists, bloggers and aficionados were reunited to discover Qasim’s universe and the inspiration behind his new range of luxury fragrances.

The story of Anfas started in 2014, when Asim Al Qasim, in collaboration with his mentor, Spanish master perfumer ChristanCarbonnel, created its first collection of unisex niche perfumes. 3 years later and Qasim is back with a collection of six fragrances inspired by the essence of Arabian living.Each perfume comes in a beautifully designed and luxury casing and offers a unique olfactory experience. “Salam”, one of the fragrances from the collection, for example, has very fresh top notes such as Bergamot and Mandarin, heart notes are made of Amber, Jasmine and Magnolia, and bottom notes are sandalwood and musk.

Guests in attendance were offered healthy refreshments while listening to Qasim speak passionately about his craft. They were latergiven a grand tour of Beautique and left with samples of the new Anfas collection. The intimate event was part of the summer soft launch programme initiated by Beautique where talented master perfumers are invited to meet with the public and media; Qasim was the third master perfumer to visit the store after HerveGambs and Thomas Kosmola.
