The UAE retail chain has partnered with Dubai-based US Regional Office of Agricultural Affairs for a tasty culinary journey across its stores in Dubai
DUBAI, Wednesday, 30 September, 2015: UAE retail store chain Choithrams today announced the launch of an American Goodness Festival in Dubai. This is an integral part of the retail giant’s strategic business plans. Known to be one of the most popular chains of stores in the country, the festival will offer a treat to taste buds to one and all with a food and culinary event. Starting from September 30 to October 11, customers will be able to enjoy the goodies on offer all across all the stores in Dubai.
Quintin Gray, United States Agricultural Counselor, US Consulate in the UAE, inaugurated the festival at the Choithrams store located in Dubai Marina.

Interestingly, the festival will promote over 2,500 American products with discounts up to 20% and special placements of food stalls within the participating outlets.
Choithrams has been selling American products since the 1980s with current trade levels at around USD 20 million annually. Products include canned foods, condiments, baking ingredients, health foods, cereals, beverages, perishables (cheese, meats, fresh produce etc); frozen foods, confectionaries to baby foods etc.
Among other prizes on stake during the festival, the highlight is on two round tickets to the USA courtesy of Delta Airlines. A purchase of AED50 on marked products needs to be made to enter to win.
