Abu Dhabi, October 29th2015: Luxury German luggage brand RIMOWA opened its first bespoke store of the region in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi today. The store was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Social Development of the UAE in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Eckhard Lubkemeier, The German Ambassador to the UAE, RIMOWA President & CEO Dieter Morszeck and Tony Jashanmal, Group Director, Jashanmal Group together with high profile representatives from the UAE and Germany.
The iconic 185 square meterRIMOWA store islocated on the first floor of the Abu Dhabi Mall and will cater to the region’s sophisticated premium travelers.
The new quintessential RIMOWA store resembles the clean, modern aesthetic of the RIMOWA cases and their signature grooves.
Commenting at the store opening ceremony, Mr. Dieter Morszeck, President& CEOof RIMOWA said, “We are extremely pleased to open the first RIMOWA store of the region in the UAE.
