In the spirit of the Year of Giving, MKM Group – the holding company of Wafi Mall – along with Saraya Exhibitions have donated a total of AED 200,000 to Beit Al Khair Society, following a successful Ramadan Bazaar held at the main atrium of Wafi Mall. The contributions are aimed towards two different projects at the organisation, ‘Ramadan Mer Project’ and ‘Orphan Fund Project’. Both MKM Group and Saraya Exhibitions have collaboratively chosen these categories to help the developing communities.
“We are extremely proud to give back to the region in this ‘Year of Giving’ and especially to provide the orphans with an opportunity to quality education in order to prosper in their future. In line with the Holy month of Ramadan, our intention is to improve the lives of children for the future of our nation” said Louwrens Marais, Property General Manager, MKM Commercial Holdings. “The kind gesture to be a part of the ‘Year of Giving’ has been the initiative of our company’s founder H.E. Sheikh Mana Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum” he added.
“It is a pleasure to partner with Wafi Mall towards this great cause. Beit Al Khair Society has supported a variety of people through their different projects and it was our intention to reach out to as many of those in need through our partnership” added Aysha Aljassmi of Saraya Exhibitions.
In addition to the aforementioned projects, Beit Al Khair Society supports various other causes in the region and has initiated projects that help families who are in need, such as widowed women or prisoners’ families.
