Dubai, January 26th 2016: The Sagittarius Strikers franchise, owned by Danube Group hosted a press conference to unveil the team jersey and logo for Masters Champions League (MCL). The gala ceremony was attended by Anis Sajan, Owner; Daniel Vettori, Vice Captain of the Sagittarius Strikers, held at J W Marriott Marquis, Business Bay today.
Sagittarius Strikers led by Adam Gilchrist, will play their first match on January 29th 2016 at Dubai International Stadium. Other legends in the team include- Shane Bond, Tino Best, Mahela Jayawardena, Khurram Khan, Phil Mustard, Nathan Hauritz, Alviro Peterson, Michael Carberry, Krishmar Santokie, Jonathan Trott, yasir Hameed, Mushtaq Ahmed and Gavin Hamilton.
The MCL, which will feature a total of six teams playing in the Twenty20 format, has already got the approval from the International Cricket Council (ICC). The league will feature only retired international players.

The Master’s cricket league T20 will be giving the fans another opportunity to witness their cricketing stars once again playing the shortest format of cricket. The Master’s T20 league to be played in the emirates will witness all the major cricketing stars those who don’t play any form of cricket now. The league has been approved by the emirates cricket union and the Federation of International cricketers.
