Dubai, 30th September, 2015: The ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink’ movement will again actively undertake various initiatives this October with the mission to spread the awareness on breast cancer. This year the campaign slogan is “CHECK IT, BEAT IT”.
‘Our commitment to grow this movement of ‘Taking a Pink Pledge’ to help fight breast cancer continues with more vigor and energy based on the many positive responses we have received over the past 4 years. And to compliment the same we have Aster DM Healthcare supporting our initiative.’ said Mrs. Sonia John Paul, Director, Joyalukkas Group.
The ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink’ campaign is a 100% non-profit initiative with the single minded objective to educate and empower women with tips and guidance to protect themselves and fight against the dreaded disease. Since last four years, over 200 organizations have joined Joyalukkas Think Pink efforts and we have touched some 500,000 life’s with our awareness sessions and informative booklets.

We are proud to take part in this year’s initiatives and have dedicated staff for the entire month of October to take the lead in conducting free check-ups, consultations and seminars to all participants.”
Under the theme “CHECK IT, BEAT IT,” this year’s Joyalukkas Think Pink campaign is set to reach a wider audience and help save more lives with Aster DM Healthcare, the region’s leading healthcare provider, joining the initiative.
This year ‘Joyalukkas Think Pink’ activity will include a mass media campaign in association with Aster DM Healthcare to promote the theme and urge women to periodically undertake self checks. This will be supported with radio programs and road shows wherein doctors from the Aster will educate with tips and tools to fight and prevent oneself from the disease. The campaign will also include free breast consultation vouchers, a special educational booklet, distributed across the UAE, which will detail self detection methods in addition to key facts of the disease plus feature articles and quotes from reputed personalities in support of this grand initiative. Other than this there are special orientation programs planned in universities, schools, Government offices and various Corporate across the UAE.
