Dubai, 23rd of November 2019 – Under the patronage of H. H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma Bint Mohamed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan and the Dubai Health Authority, the Women’s Show was held at the Music Hall Dubai, in line with the festive season.
The event was successfully organized by Nutreema Advertising in cooperation with the strategic partner HealthPlus Fertility Centers and the exclusive sponsor Cetaphil.
Around 500 VIP ladies attended and graced the occasion which coincides for the celebration of the UAE national day.
“The festive season is a moment of joy and laughter with family and friends. As we reflect on the passage of time and look forward for the New Year with great joy, says Mrs. Rima Sayegh Janho, the founder of the Women’s Show.
She also added that the beautiful and true success of this event is the desire of every woman to learn more about health awareness which includes a healthy life for the family and to pray for peace in all Arab countries.
Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Shamma reiterates in her speech the essentiality of paying attention for both physical and mental health. She emphasized that life will have no meaning if someone has psychological disorder and in the accelerating pace of time, women should pay attention to their mental health. She thanked the UAE for all its programs and plans to preserve the environment, especially under the wise leadership of His Highness the President, Deputy Prime Minister and Prince of Abu Dhabi the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Interactive exhibition stands filled the venue, where partners showcased the latest healthcare trends and healthy foods, sampled products, provided complimentary health screenings and involved the women in interesting informative activities.
Renowned healthcare professionals conducted health talks on two interesting topics:
Dr. Bohaira El Geyoushi, IVF Consultant from HealthPlus Fertility Center in Dubai spoke to the attendees about ovarian aging. “Women postponing childbearing or marriage should take precaution measures and understand that fertility rates start to decrease at the age of 30, followed by a steep decrease after the age of 35, and declines further after the age 40. Women who are prone to postpone pregnancy for any medical or social reason should seek advice from a fertility specialist about the options available at an early stage.” Dr. Bohaira also explained to women the various factors that may affect fertility rates such as obesity, smoking or even low ovarian reserve due to premature ovarian failure.
Representing Cetaphil, Dr. Khadija Al Jefri who is a consultant and dermatologist shared a few tips on skincare for healthy and glowing skin. She explained the importance of proper protection and care of the skin especially during the cold winter season.
Moreover, Dr. Razan Zahrawi a specialist dermatologist from Mediclinic conducted a lecture related to melasma and other pigmentations of the skin. She explained the types and causes of the skin discolorations and recommended a range of possible treatments as well as prevention methods.
The event concluded with an elegant fashion show presented by Ms. Ekhlas El Shaebany showcasing her latest collection.
Throughout the event, the energy was kept up in the room as the Music Hall offered exciting live musical performances and the crowd was spoiled with valuable prizes including airline tickets provided by Emirates Airlines and other fabulous gifts from the sponsors.
This wrapped-up yet another successful Women’s Show that enjoyed extensive coverage from all the important local media and press in the country.
